The PROPEX HS2211 is standardly equipped with an electronic semiconductor thermostat, which automatically switches the device on and off to maintain the desired temperature.

When the room temperature drops below the selected level, the Heatsource system will automatically start and operate until the cabin reaches the chosen temperature.

Gas Efficiency

Thanks to forced air combustion and a two-stage stainless steel heat exchanger, the Propex HS2211 model is a clean and highly efficient way to heat your vehicle or boat.

The combustion air is drawn from outside your caravan or camper, mixed with gas during three stages of aeration, and automatically ignited, heating the large surface area of the heat exchanger.

Heatsource units are completely sealed from the interior and exhaust all combustion products outside through a sleek 22mm internal diameter stainless steel flue.

For increased efficiency, internal air is typically recirculated rather than using cold outside air. The HS series heaters are also very economical in terms of power consumption, drawing less than 1.7A when operating on gas.

Installation

The HS2211 can be supplied with complete installation kits suitable for underfloor installations, with kits available to handle the required number of outlets. In vehicles and caravans, the unit is typically mounted under the floor or between chassis rails, with specific mounting kits available for certain vehicles. Exhaust pipes are then routed to the side of the vehicle. The low profile of the heater ensures no exposed pipes or protruding parts, preserving vehicle clearance. Heat is directed to one or more outlets using durable, highly flexible 60 mm diameter ducts, routed to the interior at your chosen location. Externally routed ducts should be placed in insulated channels to minimize heat loss. For installations with multiple outlets, the first outlet is open and equipped with directional control, while the others are closed and used in combination with appropriately sized Y-shaped plastic splits. The heater is made from corrosion-resistant materials and sealed against water ingress, but should be properly protected from direct road spray and debris.
