- The Pundmann Therm Air Boiler and the Pundmann Therm Flameproof are designed for 2.3 bar. If the operating pressure is within this range, an additional pressure reducer is not required. If it is higher, its use is recommended.

- The built-in heating element heats the water to over 70°C and automatically switches off when the temperature is reached. Only use the heating rod function when the boiler is full. The standard version of the heating element has the following technical parameters:
- 12V = 200W
- 24V = 400W
- 230V = 500W
- The safety valve to allow any excess pressure to escape is absolutely essential! Each boiler has a corresponding valve installed. A hose can be attached to this valve to drain off any escaping water. The valve has a pressure protection of 2.2 bar. The fresh water should not be pumped into the boiler at a pressure higher than 2.5 bar. If necessary, this pressure must be reduced. A corresponding pressure reducer can be purchased from the manufacturer. The hose connections should have an internal diameter of 10 mm and be of high quality.
- If the boiler is not used for a longer period of time, the water must be drained from the boiler. The boiler must be disconnected from the power supply before draining. The boiler is drained by opening the safety valve and opening a tap or shower tap so that the water circuit in the boiler is open. Leave the safety valve open until the boiler is used again.
- The water is heated to 60-70°C depending on the model of boiler or heating element installed. When the corresponding temperature is reached, the system switches off automatically. Only use the heating element function when the boiler is full.
- Depending on the model of boiler or heating element installed, the water is heated to 60-70°C. The heating time is approx. 60 minutes. When the corresponding temperature is reached, the system switches off automatically. Only use the heating element function when the boiler is full.
- Yes, the autotherm heating system can also be operated when there is no water in the boiler.
- Yes, a switch is still required to disconnect the boiler from the mains. Otherwise, hot water will be produced continuously.
- The low-pressure boiler does not include a pressure relief valve.
- It can also be heated using a heating rod only.
- The Pundmann Therm boilers are insulated with shock-resistant polystyrene.
- There is a difference of approx. 20 minutes in the heating time between the 6 litre and 9 litre boilers.
- Yes, you can drain the boiler with the screwed-on pressure relief valve and do not need an intermediate drain valve.
- The swivelling range of the freewheel lever is 90 degrees.
